Meet Dr. Ryan Kinn

I am a proud native of Fostoria. Feel free to call me Dr. Ryan or Dr. Kinn. My journey into dentistry was somewhat predestined, sparked by a career assessment test I took back in the 6th grade. I’ve always been interested in a career in healthcare, where I could directly impact lives. My love for intricate detail work and art just made dentistry the perfect fit for me.

My academic adventure started at The Ohio State University where I studied biology. This led me to the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Here, my commitment and dedication paid off as I graduated amongst the top of my class, with extra training in digital dentistry and dental implants. I moved back to Fostoria after dental school and worked as an associate dentist at this very office. In 2022, I bought the practice and I take great pride in running a successful dental practice by the time I was 30 years old.

During my time at the University, I was fortunate to receive several awards, recognizing my clinical skills and scholastic excellence. Institutions like the Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Operative Dentistry, and the American College of Prosthodontists honored my efforts, and I was especially thrilled to receive the Lexington Endodontics award and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Basic Science Award.

What drives me in my dental career is the chance to transform patients’ lives, helping them gain confidence with a healthy smile they can be proud of. I pride myself on being patient and understanding, qualities my patients often appreciate. I’m a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the North Central Ohio Dental Association, and the Paragon Program.

I spend a great amount of time outside of clinical hours at the practice to ensure everything continues to run smoothly and efficiently; however, when I’m not at my practice, you can find me with my family. I have been married to my amazing wife since 2022 and I have two wonderful daughters. You may also find me pursuing one of my many hobbies, such as playing the piano, golfing, fishing, landscaping/gardening, or maintaining my saltwater aquarium.

I am grateful to have been raised by parents who instilled the values of hard work, honesty, and compassion, I’m a family man at heart and love spending time with my family.

I’m all about blending professional success with personal fulfillment, ensuring that my patients receive the highest quality dental care while also making the most out of life.
