If your bad breath does not seem to go away, it may be a sign of a more serious issue. There are a number oral health and non-oral health-related issues that foul breath may be a sign of.

Oral health issues include:
Strep throat or other throat issues
Cavities
Gum disease
Infected root canal

Non-oral health issues include:
Diabetes

Most of the time, the reason for bad breath is due to a poor dental hygiene routine. You need to make sure you are brushing your teeth, gums, tongue, and top of your mouth along with flossing two times per day.
